Kentucky Climate Action Planning Council (KCAPC) Process 

The KCAPC is tasked with considering, evaluating, and compiling a multi-sector set of recommended policies and presenting them to Energy Environment Cabinet (EEC). Members are appointed by the EEC Secretary. The KCAPC comprises a diverse group of stakeholders who bring broad perspective and expertise to the topic of climate change in Kentucky. Members represent the following sectors: energy, agriculture, forestry, industry, business, non-governmental organizations, academia, and multiple levels of government.

DRAFT Final Report - October 2011


This DRAFT Final Report is presented by sections and chapters and, following this list, as a compiled report in two sections. It is available for Kentucky Climate Action Plan Council (KCAPC) review and comment until Friday, October 7, 2011.

The size of each file is indicated in brackets. All documents are in 'pdf' format and require Adobe Reader. To download the free Adobe Reader to open 'pdf' files, go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/ and select your operating system (e.g., Windows XP) to begin.

Comments on the draft Final Report should be e-mailed to Kate Shanks, kate.shanks@ky.gov, Bob Amato, Bob.Amato@ky.gov,  of the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet (KEEC) and to Tom Looby of the Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) at tlooby@climatestrategies.us  by 5 pm Central, Friday, October 7, 2011.

The KCAPC held their 7th and final meeting via teleconference on August 25, 2011.
